One-of-a-kind scissor, handmade from Damascus steel
The Keiun is crafted from Damascus steel, in which many layers of durable ductile steel create a beautiful swirling pattern on the surface of the metal ("Keiun" is Japanese for "a view of the clouds"). These layers also act like shock absorbers, giving you a uniquely smooth, buttery cutting sensation.
The beautiful patterns in the metal are complemented by an exquisite design, with the sensual flowing lines of the handles carried through to the curve of the fixed finger rest. On top of that, every Keiun is made by hand and is completely unique.
The inner blade of these fabulous scissors is hand finished with a layer of ATS314 Cobalt, to enhance its durability and sharpness. You can also set the scissor tension exactly as you need it with the adjustable tension screw.
