Pick up a Kobe Lunar and you can immediately see the difference to other scissors. Its twisted thumb ring (see picture) creates butterfly handles which take so much strain off your arm it's almost like cutting in low gravity.

The handles have a standard offset shape, but because of the angle on the thumb, they allow you to cut with a lower arm, wrist and elbow. As well as making cutting less tiring for you, this also puts less strain on your tendons, reducing the chances of developing RSI.

Of course, performance has not been ignored either and the Kobe Lunar features convex, hollow ground blades forged from Japanese 440C steel that will slice beautifully. There's also a ratchet tension screw that you can adjust to suit your style.

The polished silver finish of the lunar is complemented by a Japanese character etched on the handle and the distinctive Kobe "K" capping the tension screw. It's supplied with a black, leatherette scissor case with space for a second scissor alongside your Lunar and a loop for a cutting comb.
