Companion to the Haito Classic Scissors, like them the Haito Classic Thinner is handmade in stainless steel using an advanced heat treatment process that gives the blades extra durability. It comes in 2 sizes: the 5.5-inch with 27 teeth and the 6-inch with 30 teeth.
The blades are hollow ground with a convex cutting edge that gives them excellent sharpness. They're held together by a Japanese-style adjustable tension screw with a ball-bearing mechanism that gives a lovely smooth action.
The straight handles include a removable finger rest and finger ring inserts. Screw, finger rest and finger rings are picked out in different colours depending on size—blue ones for the 5.5-inch and black ones for the 6-inch.
Each Haito Classic Thinning Scissor comes with its own blue scissor wallet.
